Hindi
Rangebank school is the first school in Victoria to introduce Hindi as a LOTE subject. Our Hindi program aims at the development of our students as ‘Global Citizens’, by giving them an opportunity to explore the Language and Culture of India.
In Hindi lessons, we mainly focus on the conversational language and culture of India. A variety of strategies are used to practise the language such as role-plays, games, audio visual clips, rhymes and songs.
The cultural aspect is taught through Visual media, dance, dress-ups, craft activities and incursions. Our students also participate in the weekly Skype session and student exchange program with our sister school (Bluebells International) in Delhi, India.
