Wellbeing
At Rangebank, we understand the importance of preparing students to be ready to learn. We focus on creating a safe and orderly learning environment. This is important as to focus on learning we need to feel safe and we need a learning space that is orderly.
Our teachers are supported to create flexible learning spaces in the classroom to support students to self regulate. Staff provide mindfulness and brain breaks throughout the day.
Beyond the classroom we have a strong focus on wellbeing through our wellbeing team approach. This team is led by an Assistant Principal and includes a youth worker, psychologist and Primary Welfare officer. They work closely with families to support students as well as providing outreach for families when needed.
